An Area Sous Chef plays a crucial role in overseeing multiple kitchen operations within a designated area. Their responsibilities typically include:
Supporting Head Chefs across different locations, ensuring consistency in food quality and presentation.
Managing kitchen staff, training junior chefs, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
Overseeing inventory and ordering supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Assisting in menu development, ensuring dishes align with the restaurants vision and customer preferences.
Monitoring food costs and efficiency, helping maintain profitability while delivering top-tier cuisine
You Are:
- A good communicator, organised and an approachable leader
- Excited and driven by great food and fresh produce, seasonality and creativity get you buzzing

- Experienced in working with in a fresh food restaurant or pub kitchen, ideally in a premium casual dining kitchen and having ideally worked weddings and other events
