About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Assistant Night Manager to support the smooth operation of our hotel during overnight hours. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to remain calm and organised in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Night Manager in overseeing all hotel operations during night shifts

Act as the main point of contact for guests overnight, ensuring a high standard of service

Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, and enquiries professionally

Supervise night staff and provide support where required

Ensure security procedures and health & safety standards are followed

Manage reports, cash handling, and night audit tasks

Respond effectively to guest complaints or emergencies

Requirements

Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality role (night shift experience preferred)

Strong communication and customer service skills

Previous IHG Crowne Plaza brand experience desirable, but not essential

Extensive knowledge of Opera PMS software is essential

Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends

Ability to work independently and make sound decisions

Good organisational and time-management skills

Pride and attention to detail in your work

Exceptional leadership and management skills

Excellent communication skills written and spoken
