- Deliver attendance support to a designated group of schools in line with the traded Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- Analyse attendance data and implement targeted interventions to improve pupil attendance.
- Act as Lead Professional for complex attendance cases, providing early intervention and pre-NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) support.
- Undertake home visits and lead investigations into non-attendance, preparing prosecution cases and presenting them in court where necessary.
- Participate in multi-agency meetings, ensuring families access the right support at the right time.
- Carry out duties in relation to Children Missing Education (CME) and welfare-related referrals.
- Essential: Previous experience working within local authority or school attendance teams.
- Sound knowledge of education legislation, attendance enforcement procedures and statutory responsibilities.
- Excellent data analysis, communication and report-writing skills.
- Strong ability to engage and support vulnerable families in an inclusive and professional manner.
- Willingness and ability to travel across Lewisham for on-site school visits.
