Horizon Teachers are looking for a skilled Behaviour Mentor to join a secondary PRU in Waltham Forest. This is a long-term position to start as soon as possible, full-time. What is the role?• In this role as a Behaviour Mentor, you will be supporting pupils aged 11-16 who have a primary diagnosis of social, emotional, mental health (SEMH).• This is an opportunity to inspire children in an SEMH specialist setting, supporting them both inside and outside of the classroom by providing encouragement and direction when needed.Who are they looking for?• Someone who can demonstrate SEMH-based experience. You may have worked in a PRU/AP previously, or you may have been a Youth Worker/Rehabilitation Officer.
