Principal Education is hiring passionate Behaviour Mentors and Youth Workers with SEN experience for schools across South East and South West London — including Lewisham, Lambeth, Southwark, Croydon, Greenwich, Bromley, and Wandsworth.

If you’ve supported young people with SEN, SEMH, or behavioural needs, and you know how to bring calm, structure, and positivity where it’s needed most — this is your moment.

The Opportunity

Every day, you’ll help students rebuild confidence, regulate emotions, and re-engage with learning.
You’ll be the person who shows up, who listens, who helps them believe they can succeed.

No marking. No planning. Just meaningful impact — every single day.

Your role will include:
• One-to-one and small-group SEN support
• De-escalation and mentoring for pupils with SEMH or behavioural needs
• Working with SENCOs and Inclusion Leads to create safe, structured spaces
• Building real relationships that change outcomes

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with SEN, SEMH, or challenging behaviour
• Resilient, empathetic, and consistent in your approach
• Confident managing classroom behaviour positively
• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS (or willing to apply)
