Bridging Underwriter Role Overview:

It is seeking a highly skilled Senior Bridging Underwriter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and underwriting bridging loan applications, ensuring a thorough evaluation of risk and adherence to company policies. Your expertise will help drive our lending strategy and enhance our client relationships.

Bridging Underwriter Key Responsibilities:

Assess and underwrite bridging loan applications, including property valuation and borrower profiles.
Conduct thorough due diligence and risk analysis on potential lending opportunities.
Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to streamline the underwriting process.
Provide guidance and support to junior underwriters and assist in their development.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and regulatory changes.
Prepare detailed underwriting reports and present findings to senior management.
Build and maintain relationships with brokers and clients to facilitate smooth transactions.

Bridging Underwriter Qualifications:

Proven experience as a bridging underwriter
Strong understanding of property valuation, lending criteria, and risk assessment.
Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Relevant qualifications in finance, economics, or a related field are preferred.
