Park Hyatt London River Thames offers 203 luxurious rooms, including a presidential suite and two signature mega-suites, with stunning views of the River Thames and central London. Nestled in a convenient location in the heart of the city, the hotel features exquisite dining options across two restaurants and two bar outlets, state-of-the-art event spaces, and a serene spa and wellness floor. Alongside our hotel offering, we are also in the process of launching a unique residential experience, creating a dynamic and evolving luxury environment for longer staying guests.
Duties and responsibilities related to the Commis Bakerrole
- Understand and efficiently operate bakery machinery and equipment.
- Consistently produce baked goods that meet the hotels high-quality standards.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring proper stock rotation is in place.
- Performing tasks as directed by senior Bakers, such as the Head Baker, to help inpreparation.
- Help to receive, check, and store deliveries of fresh food and supplies.
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth bakery operations.
About you
You have a genuine interest in culinary operations and demonstrate a strong willingness to learn while actively supporting the kitchen team. You possess a foundational understanding of food preparation techniques and are committed to maintaining food safety and hygiene standards.
Flexibility is important, as some shifts may start as early as 4:00 AM. This role requires a dynamic combination of creativity, leadership, and teamwork.
