The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $120,000, and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.

Meraki Talent are working with a leading overseas bank to help them identify a Commodity Settlements & Clearing Senior Analyst.This role will be part of a team providing the operational support to the Metals trading regions including London, Singapore and New York and will settle and reconcile all metals transactions booked on the Plc balance sheet.The role requires strong focus and knowledge of the controls that we rely on to facilitate the settlement of their complete suite of metals products.The role requires detailed two-way communication both to understand the requirements of the front office and clients/counterparties and to ensure that at all times they are keeping operational risk to a minimum.The Commodity Settlements, Clearing & Reconciliations team’s responsibilities include:Precious Metal SettlementsCash settlementsCash reconciliationsAgreement of netting and settlement mechanics with clientsClearing (Loco London and Zurich)Daily house and client settlement managementDaily LPMCL management including allocations, calls and brokersCall account managementClient audit managementDaily and weekly metal reconciliationsVAT processingBalance sheet substantiationWe are looking for:Experience of working in a regulated environment, ideally Financial ServicesExperience within clearing and vaulting commodity operationsBusiness knowledge – clearing and vaultingUnderstanding of LBMA and ideally international marketsUnderstanding of risk and controlBanking knowledgeKnowledge of emerging marketsIT skillsPlease forward your CV for more details.
