Comms & PR Coordinator (Consumer Products)
CPS Group UK are delighted to be working with the Consumer Products division of a well-known Global Entertainment brand to appoint a PR & Comms Coordinator for an initial 6-month contract.
The PR & Comms Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the Consumer Products EMEA team to plan, manage, execute and report impactful and resonant PR events and campaigns as well as generating positive news, managing press office functions, influencer relations and event activations.
The role requires experience in Consumer Products, Influencer Marketing, Brand Building and Creative ideation.
Role Requirements
- Curate, manage and oversee media and influencer database, identifying and vetting new influencer talent
- Draft and distribute copy for invites, comms slips and media alerts
- Craft news stories for both external and internal platforms
- Assist in planning and delivering internal engagement initiatives
- Vet licensee, retail and partner media and influencer lists
- Support the coordinator and logistics for internal, trade and external press events, new product launches and influencer activations
- Track PR campaign results and produce associated robust performance reports
- Maintain PR calendars
Required Skills & Experience
- Demonstrable experience in PR & Comms with blue-chip organisations (either in-house or agency)
- Experience with Consumer Products, Retail Marketing or Product Commercialization
- Deep understanding of influencer marketing and track record of sourcing appropriate influencer talent
- Skilled in creative PR & Comms solutioning
- Up-to-date knowledge of media landscape
- Excellent media relation skills and a hands-on approach to media/influencer outreach
- EMEA and/or Global PR & Communications experience
