Job Title: Customer Service & Events Assistant

Location: Westminster, London (hybrid working available)
Pay: 13.50 - 14.00 per hour
Duration: 2-3 weeks
Working Pattern: Part-time, 3 days per week (flexibility required)
Hours: 9:30am - 5:30pm (30-minute break)
Start Date: Wednesday 3rd September 2025

Confirmed Working Dates:

  • September: 3, 4, 5, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20

  • Please note: Most days will be office-based due to project deadlines, with 18th-20th September worked from home.



Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the shared inbox and respond to incoming calls in a timely and professional manner.

  • Prepare informative delegate packs for upcoming conferences and events.

  • Provide administrative support to the Membership and Events team.

  • Coordinate event registration communications, ensuring all delegates receive accurate information.

  • Issue conference passes and oversee smooth distribution.

  • Chase and track missing attendee information to keep event preparation on schedule.

  • Handle membership queries (new, existing, and lapsed members) with efficiency and professionalism.

  • Support the wider events team with ad hoc administrative duties as required.



Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience in administration and customer service is essential.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage a wide variety of queries.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.

  • Confident handling a busy inbox and high call volumes.

  • Positive, calm, and approachable personality that contributes to a supportive team environment.

  • An interest in politics or political awareness is advantageous but not essential.
