Cyber Catastrophe Modeling Researcher

Up to £75,000 + Bonus

Our client, one of the world's largest global insurance groups offering both specialist insurance and reinsurance, is seeking an exceptional Cyber Catastrophe Modeling Researcher to join their team.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of their cyber underwriting strategy, risk appetite, cyber innovation and cyber accumulation controls for both affirmative and non-affirmative coverages.

As a Cyber Catastrophe Modeling Researcher, you will:

  • Develop and test cyber risk scenarios and models to assess their impact.
  • Analyse portfolio data for trends and support scenario development and stress testing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to advance cyber modelling tools and processes.
  • Communicate risk insights to key stakeholders and enhance understanding of cyber exposure.
  • Stay at the forefront of cyber security trends and integrate findings into actionable strategies.

Our client is looking for someone who brings:

  • The ability to help develop the group’s Cyber accumulation control.
  • Building models for affirmative and non-affirmative coverages.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, and proficiency in Python and R.
  • Proven experience in insurance related research, working with Actuaries.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
