Design & Styling Team Assistant - Interiors
Location: LondonSalary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum (DOE)
A well-established and fast-growing interiors-focused company is looking for a hands-on and detail-driven Design & Styling Team Assistant to support its busy and creative team. Working between two key locations—our head office and a nearby warehouse—you’ll play a vital role in the delivery of styled furniture packages and show home setups across London.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen eye for design and a proactive approach, who enjoys the variety and pace of a smaller business environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesFurniture Packages:
- Assemble basic furniture packages for day-to-day clients, including landlords and property professionals.
- Prepare and style tailored packages to suit varying client needs and project briefs.
Manage packing and unpacking of stock for styled packages.
- Ensure stock is well maintained, presentation-ready, and handled with care.
- Coordinate and book show home collections.
- Unpack, install, and style furniture and accessories on-site.
- Work alongside the design team to support installation projects.
- Take the lead on-site where necessary, guiding team members to ensure smooth, high-standard execution.
- Track inventory and report stock levels to the Head of Design & Styling.
- Raise any stock shortages or needs in a timely manner.
- Experience working in a similar design & styling or interiors environment.
- Strong visual awareness and familiarity with design trends and layouts.
- A creative eye.Â
- Must have a relevant degree in interior design, Architecture, Design, Textiles, fashion or something similar.
- Experience working in property styling would be a advantageous but not essential.
- Experience using Adobe Photoshop or Adobe InDesign would be advantageous but not essential
- Confident leading on-site installations and delegating tasks clearly.
- Able to problem-solve and make quick decisions under time pressure.
- Strong administration skills using Microsoft office and project coordination skills.
- Comfortable working across multiple locations.
- Willing get involved in more of the hands on duties on site, and in the warehouse.
- Flexible and open to supporting various areas of the business.
- Strong verbal communication with the ability to lead a team effectively on-site, working closely with site staff to ensure everything is running smoothly and to agreed timescales.
- Able to build relationships with suppliers and very strong client service skills.
- Able to juggle several responsibilities at once while maintaining attention to detail.
- Methodical in approach to both stock and scheduling tasks.
