We are working with one of Londons most exclusive event catering companies, known for creating exceptional food for luxury venues, elite private clients and high-profile celebrations. This role sits at the centre of their creative kitchen, developing new concepts and elevating dishes to a consistently exceptional standard.
They are seeking a Development Sous Chef with Michelin-level skill, strong flavour understanding and the ability to create refined, visually striking dishes.
Around 80 percent of the role focuses on tasting and development, with 20 percent supporting high-calibre events.
Youll be wondering whats in it for you as a Development Sous Chef
- £45,000 to £50,000 per annum (DOE) plus circa £3,000 Christmas profit share bonus
- Working predominantly Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, with some evening/weekend work
- On average, working 1 weekend day a month and 1 evening per week
- 31 days annual leave = 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays and Christmas to New Year off for free

Responsibilities as a Development Sous Chef
- Focusing on tasting and development, working closely with senior chefs to create dishes for luxury events
- Applying Michelin-level skill and understanding to every stage of development
- Supporting the wider team during major events when required
- Contributing to a kitchen culture built around precision, creativity and exceptional standards
