Aston Education is looking for a Director of Ethos and Culture for an Ofsted Good Church of England secondary school in Lambeth, South London. This role is a senior leadership role.

The Director of Ethos and Culture plays a central role in sustaining and promoting the Christian ethos, culture, and values of the school.
Â
In this role you'll ensure that every student can flourish academically, socially, and personally within a safe, inclusive, and values-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Planning, managing, and sustaining processes that develop and embed the school's values across all areas
- Serve as a DSL with full oversight of safeguarding policies and practice
- Maintain the school advisory programme
- Build and maintain links with local schools and the wider community
- Ensure positive behaviour practices, including managing internal and external suspensions

Qualifications, skills and experience required:
- Degree and teaching qualification with QTS/QTLS
- Middle leadership experience with demonstrable impact
- NPQ or equivalent (desirable)
- Evidence of ongoing professional development
- Senior leadership experience with demonstrable impact (desirable)
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of safeguarding and education systems
- Effective time management and IT competence (Google Education Suite)
- Commitment to safeguarding, equality, and student success
