We are now working exclusively with an ambitious and growing Multi Academy Trust to support the recruitment of their new Director of People. This is a great opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the organisation as they move into the next phase of their journey. Please note: This full-time permanent role offers hybrid working with at least 60% of your time working from offices in London. You will also be required to travel to Academies within the Trust on occasions.

As Director of People, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will support the leadership team in aligning people plans and initiatives with the strategic direction of the Trust. You will manage and lead the People Team covering human resources, payroll and pension functions. You will also shape and develop a clear people strategy that aligns with the organisation's strategic goals, as well as drive the operational HR agenda.

To be considered you will need to be CIPD qualified and possess significant HR experience in the school and academy sector, preferably gained at a senior management level. You will also need to demonstrate excellent communication and team-working skills and the ability to build close and productive working relationships with colleagues across the Trust.
