Drone Hub Operator / Ground Operations Operative
NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - FULL TRAINING PROVIDED
If you have experience working in a commercial drone environment, then great. If you have previous experience in an Aviation / Aircraft or an Air Traffic environment, then great too. However, previous experience isn’t essential as the company will provide full training and support. Although, you will need an eye for detail, be safety conscious with a calm and focused approach and be comfortable working outdoors.
SALARY: £13 per Hour
LOCATION: You must be UK based and have the flexibility to travel UK wide and Internationally when required. Travel can be expected for 1 - 8 weeks at a time for project based work.
The company will expect you to take part in at least 2 - 3 projects each year, but you’re welcome to do more.

JOB OVERVIEW
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for someone that is safety conscious, comfortable working outdoors, happy to travel and can work with their hands carrying out basic maintenance tasks on the Drones is required to join the company as a Drone Hub Operator / Ground Operations Operative.
Working as the Drone Hub Operator / Ground Operations Operative you will support drone flight operations by ensuring the aircraft, launch sites, and ground processes run smoothly and safely.
As the Drone Hub Operator / Ground Operations Operative you’ll be working closely with Remote Pilots and other team members to deliver drone services across delivery, inspection, and surveillance missions.
FLEXIBLE PROJECT BASED WORK
This is flexible, project-based work. You choose which deployments you want to support. Project length can range from 1 week to 8+ weeks. The company expect you to take part in at least 2-3 projects each year, but you’re welcome to do more. With operations running around the world, there are always opportunities to get involved and support their ground teams.

DUTIES
Once trained your duties as the Drone Hub Operator / Ground Operations Operative include:
- Set up and secure drone landing and take-off points (TOLPs)
- Carry out basic aircraft maintenance (Level 1) and battery management
- Assist with launch, monitoring, and recovery of flights
- Maintain visual line of sight with the aircraft when required
- Watch out for environmental or safety hazards and report them
- Ensure proper logbook and maintenance record-keeping
- Support the team with kit handling and refuelling
- Keep your ground procedures and documentation knowledge up to date
- Complete refresher training as needed before deployments
You may be required to travel domestically or internationally for deployments.
Full training will be provided before you begin

You do not need a drone license. This is a ground-based role, and full training is provided. You must be based in the UK
