Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Dryliner / Tape and Jointer to join on a high-profile construction project in Central London. This is a great opportunity for skilled tradespeople to work with a reputable contractor delivering high-quality finishes in a fast-paced environment.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Install metal stud partitions, wall linings, MF ceilings, and other drylining systems

  • Measure and cut plasterboard to precise specifications

  • Fix boards to metal or timber framework using screws, adhesives, or fixings

  • Apply jointing systems (taping and jointing) to create smooth finishes ready for painting/decorating

  • Sand joints to a high standard, ensuring a seamless surface

  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of the working area

  • Work closely with site managers and other trades to ensure work is completed on time and to specification

  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and site rules



Requirements:

  • Proven experience in drylining, taping and jointing

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

  • CSCS card (essential)

  • Own tools and PPE

  • Strong attention to detail and workmanship

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team

  • Reliable and punctual



Desirable:

  • NVQ Level 2 or higher in Drylining or equivalent trade qualification

  • Own transport (if commuting from outside Central London)

  • Previous experience working on commercial or residential projects in London
