Empowering Learning are working with a Nursery school in the borough of Islington, who are recruiting for an Early Years Practitioner. The school provides a stimulating and creative environment which aims to provide an excellent starting point for young children's education. The school are looking for a friendly and reliable Early Years Practitioner with a genuine interest in education and supporting young children to learn.

Ideally, the Nursery school are looking for somebody who is Level 3 qualified but are happy to see CVs from Level 2 qualified Nursery practitioners. This role also has the opportunity for someone who would like a career working with children with SEND. There is an amazing inclusion team supporting a high number of children with SEND and extra training will be provided to help you support children with SEND.

The role will be starting ASAP, and they are looking for somebody who can commit to the role for 1 year with the view of being extended. Competitive salary is being offered, depending on experience.

You must have the following qualities to be considered for this role:

  • A recognised Early Years qualification, ideally Level 3
  • A caring and responsible attitude and be committed to work in a busy environment with a flexible approach to work.
  • Aware of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Commitment long-term
