Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant – Islington – September Start

Educo Recruitment is delighted to be working in partnership with a fantastic primary school in Islington, who are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team from September on a long-term supply basis.

This well-established school has a nurturing ethos and is committed to providing inclusive education for all pupils. The role involves working closely with children in Nursery and Reception who require additional support with communication, social development, and early learning.

About the Role:

• Full-time SEN TA role within Early Years
• Working 1:1 with children with SEND (including autism and speech & language needs)
• Supporting learning, behaviour, and social-emotional development
• Collaborating with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt provision

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working in Early Years and/or supporting children with SEND
• A calm, caring, and patient manner
• Strong understanding of EYFS and early childhood development
• Team player with a proactive attitude

Location: Islington
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Long-term supply (term-time only)

Rate: £95 - £110 a day
