Early Years Teacher (Maternity Cover) - Independent Pre-Prep School
Location: North-West London
Contract: Term-time, Monday to Friday (8:00am - 4:00pm)
Start Date: 5th January 2026
Salary: 32,000 - 42,000 (depending on qualifications and experience)
Our client, an independent pre-prep school in North West London, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Teacher to cover a maternity leave position.

The successful candidate will:
- Teach and inspire a class of rising 4-year-olds within a creative, play-based framework.
- Plan and deliver engaging, imaginative learning experiences in line with the EYFS.
- Lead and support a small team of practitioners, fostering a collaborative approach.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Contribute to the wider life of the nursery community.
The ideal candidate will be:
- A qualified Early Years Teacher (QTS, EYTS or a full and relevant Level 5+ qualification).
- Experienced in working within an Early Years setting (minimum 2 years).
- A reflective and enthusiastic practitioner with excellent classroom practice.

- An enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to apply).
- Strong safeguarding awareness and commitment to equality and diversity.
