eDisclosure Project Manager, London

A leading, global law firm are continuing with their rapid growth and are now looking for an eDisclosure Project Manager in London.

This role requires the delivery of eDisclosure solutions to lawyers and clients, management of an external panel of eDisclosure vendors and driving the use of eDisclosure services across the firm. Also defining the firm's strategy for the use of eDisclosure technology and running training and awareness sessions.

Responsibilities:

  • Driving the use and understanding of eDisclosure technology and services across the business.
  • Delivering technical and consultancy services to legal teams and clients, working through the various stages of the eDisclosure process as set out in the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM).
  • Delivering both internal and external matters which involve the identification, collection, processing, review or disclosure of data sources.
  • Leading and scoping discussions with clients, and pricing negotiations with third party providers.
  • Maintaining knowledge of developments in the market with respect to changes to the law, technologies, as well as competitors' positions.
  • Preparing and delivering awareness and training material / presentations.
  • Delivering eDisclosure services to a high standard, following best industry practices, internal eDisclosure processes and working within agreed timeframes and cost budgets.
  • Delivering technical and consultancy services to legal teams and clients, working through the various stages of the eDisclosure process as set out in the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM)
  • Preparing and delivering awareness and training material / presentations.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of eDisclosure services across the firm.
  • Taking ownership and managing eDisclosure projects including litigation and arbitration matters, data subject access requests, statutory, regulatory, and corporate investigations.
  • Taking full ownership of managing projects, from the initial scope through to trial.
  • Working with the wider innovation team to help identify potential solutions.
  • Proactively mentoring and coaching lawyers.
  • Managing third party providers, both at a matter and Firm-wide level.

Experience and technical skills:

  • Proven ability to clearly and confidently communicate technical concepts in clear terms for consumption by non-technical individuals, and vice-versa.
  • Cooperative and collaborative in approach and able to develop excellent working relationships at different levels and roles.
  • Professional, diplomatic, and tactful especially when under pressure.
  • Excellent project and change management skills.
  • Worked in a professional services, financial services, or very similar environment delivering eDisclosure / eDiscovery projects of varying sizes.
  • As an experienced eDisclosure Project Manager from either a law firm or eDisclosure vendor environment.
  • A strong technical understanding of eDisclosure and litigation support.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to convey technical information in a simple to understand language to our clients and lawyers.
  • Degree level qualification (or equivalent experience) ideally in a technology or law related discipline.
  • Hands-on experience in the use of technology assisted reviews (TAR), email threading and near-duplication functions on projects.

This role is hybrid and based in London, 2 days WFH and 3 days in the office.
