Amazing opportunity for an Estimator to join a busy, Multi-Million pound, award winning Tier 1 Fit Out Contractor in Central London!

About the role of Estimator
As an Estimator, you will be working with an existing team of 5 Estimators of different levels, under the Estimating Director based in the City of London office 4 days a week, 1 day from home following successful probation period.
As a business we specialise in Cat A & Cat B Commercial Fit Out, Office refurb & Design & Build, working on projects ranging from 5m to 30m. We are a Multi-Million pound business, having exceeded our 250m turnover goal last year, we are now on track to hit our goal of 300m for 2025, with having secured most of our work for 2025 before it had even started!
Despite our success, we are a business that is focused on profit, not turnover. We are looking for someone who has 3+ years of Estimating experience, working for either a Main Contractor or Fit Out Contractor, to join our team

Responsibilities for Estimator
* Prepare accurate & competitive cost estimates for high value fit out projects
* Measure quantities using tools like CostX or Bluebeam
* Sends out RFQs to subcontractors & suppliers
* Build & maintain supplier & subcontractor networks / relationships
* Develop preliminary cost plans during early design stages
* Participate in tender interviews & presentations
* Produce cost breakdowns, tender summaries & bid submissions

Requirements for Estimator
* Minimum 3 years experience in Estimating
* Experience working in construction industry, either across fit out, main contracting or new homes
* Familiarity with basic tendering & procurement processes
* Degree qualified in a Construction related subject, such as Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Commercial Management etc.
* Understanding of Construction methods & building materials
* Good written communication
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Estimating software
* Eager to learn & take feedback
* Detail orientated
* Good team player
