Executive Head of Nursery

We seek a key member of the senior management team, working closely with theExecutive Head of Childcare Servicesto oversee the day-to-day management of childcare across three local authority maintained nursery provisions, ensuringhigh-quality early education and childcare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and deputise for theExecutive Head of Childcare Servicesas required.
• Manage and oversee theoperations of three nursery provisions, ensuring high standards of care and education.
• Contribute to thedevelopment of the ethos, policies, and practicesof the centres.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, guidance, and quality standards in early years provision.
• Act asDeputy for the Executive Head of Children Centre Servicesduring periods of absence.

Requirements:

• Experience insenior nursery or early years management.
• Experience working withinlocal government or local authority education/childcare services.
• Strong knowledge ofearly years education, childcare standards, and legislation.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Commitment tohigh-quality provision and continuous improvement.
