Our client, operating within the rail sector, is currently seeking a Franchise Strategy Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is crucial in supporting the Commercial and Strategy team in delivering the company's strategic objectives, with a particular emphasis on driving commercial opportunities and revenue through data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:- Supporting the Commercial and Strategy team in delivering short, medium, and long-term strategic objectives
- Analysing data to drive commercial opportunities and improve business performance
- Providing data-driven insights and recommendations to enhance financial performance
- Ensuring compliance with obligations under the franchise agreement
- Identifying and addressing risks associated with lost revenue and ticketless travel
- Implementing strategies to improve operational efficiencies
- Collaborating with various departments to support overall business objectives
- Preparing detailed reports and presenting findings to senior management
- Experience in a commercial or analytical role, ideally within the rail, procurement, or commercial sectors
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and trends
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Understanding of financial performance metrics and revenue protection strategies
