A premium coffee brand are looking for a new Commercial Leader. The individual will hold P&L responsibility and be responsible for shaping and delivering a strategy for future growth across the UK and Internationally.

Client Details

Our client is a premium coffee brand, which is part of a larger group, that caters for the B2B market, and the B2C market through online sales. They are going through an exciting growth phase in the UK and are looking for a strategic, commercial leader to further support their plans for 2025 and beyond.

Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head of Coffee to drive growth of the brand through full ownership and responsibility for the business. The individual will be responsible for all aspects of the coffee business, driving strategic objectives with a focus on expanding through new business, targeting high potential customers, and increasing market share. The person will provide direction and lead the growth of sales through effective team management, new business growth, and account management.

Key responsibilities will include;

Strategic:

路 Develop and oversee implementation of the brand's strategy and business development plans.

路 Build and maintain effective relationships with key and potential clients, interact with business partners and provide expert knowledge.

Operational:

路 Lead in negotiations and become a significant stakeholder for key accounts.

路 Lead and motivate line reports to advance employee engagement and develop a high performing team.

Sales/Business Development:

路 Manage the brand P&L to deliver short and long-term goals and achieve budgeted sales revenue target.

路 Identify, engage, plan and develop new accounts, reporting regularly on key sales fundamentals.

路 Prospect new business opportunities and convert into sustainable and profitable customers.

Profile

The successful candidate should have the following skillset/experience:

路 Effective leader and excellent motivator with strong leadership, management, and expert project management skills

路 Strong ability to guide decision making at the C-level and engage with commercial managers with the right level of tact

路 Minimum 5 years' relevant experience working in UK/Europe in either a sales or a business development role, ideally with experience of working on a brand from launch.

路 Commercially astute and customer focused

路 Highly self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset

路 Highly organized doer with the ability to work in a fast-paced, result oriented environment

路 Strong negotiation and influencing skills

路 Must have solid commercial sales background in the food/beverages sector, ideally with a focus on coffee

Job Offer

路 A competitive base salary of circa 拢75,000 - 拢85,000 per annum

路 Performance related bonus of 20%

路 Car Allowance of 拢7,000 per annum
