Head of Facilities Management - Law Firm - Immediate Start Contract Role* - Central London (WC2H) / Hybrid - c£100k (Negotiable) + great benefits

We are on the hunt for an experienced and immediately available Head of Facilities, with solid experience in a professional services environment, to join a fabulous organisation based in Central London.

Joining a well-established and successful firm, the Head of Facilities will lead a busy and diverse in-house team and take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the firm’s premises and office administration.

*The opportunity: This is an immediate start role, initially on a 3 month+ FTC, however there is the potential for this position to convert to a permanent role.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and coordinating your team and the day-to-day operations of the department
  • Department budget management, preparation and monitoring
  • First point of contact for key external suppliers and contractors, reviewing and monitoring agreements/services
  • Resolving operational issues or complaints
  • Managing and overseeing maintenance of the premises
  • Coordinating event or space planning
  • Managing Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Coordinating DSE assessors, first aiders and fire wardens and organising training as required
  • Producing reports and maintaining accurate records

  • Previous experience insimilar Facilities Management / Head of Facilities roles within professional services environments - essential
  • Proven track record of managing facilities teams
  • Strong leadership / management capabilities
  • Highly organised and proactive nature
  • Desire to provide customer service excellence at all times
  • Confident communication skills
  • Commercially minded
