This critical role involves creating and building a brand-new payroll function from scratch, tailored to the business's needs.
Candidates should have experience in payroll management and be prepared to work on recruitment, software development, and compliance with payroll legislation.
The position offers a salary of £49,725 and requires candidates to have relevant experience in payroll functions.

This is a critical role for the business & will need candidates to create the department from scratch!

As the Head of Payroll, you will be responsible for:

Creating and building a brand-new payroll function. Looking at business needs and creating appropriately.
Recruitment of new hires
Working with payroll provider and developing correct software for the function
Keeping up to date with all payroll legislation
Creating and implementing SLAs
Building robust relationships with 3rd party clients
Working with business owners and other stakeholders on budget, forecasting and providing payroll analysis
Commercially identifying new business opportunities
