Candidate Profile
AsHead of Reservations, you will lead and manage a high-performing team to ensure exceptional service standards, accurate administration, and seamless guest experiences. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, optimising inventory and revenue opportunities, and ensuring coordination with key departments to support a smooth and personalised guest journey. You will prioritise team development by fostering a supportive environment that encourages growth, collaboration, and continuous improvement. You are a strategic, detail-oriented leader with excellent communication skills, a passion for service excellence, and the ability to inspire and drive performance in a dynamic luxury environment.
Key Requirements
The ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
- Previous experience within Reservations in a 4 or 5* establishment in a department head or secondary position is essential, experience in the luxury London market preferred.
- A proven track record of exceptional guest service and satisfaction is required.
- Have the ability to lead a highly successful team and continue to promote excellence in everything that is done.
- High level of skills in training and development of associates, focusing on individual strengths and getting the best from people on a daily basis.
- Must be organised and methodical, have the ability to work on their own initiative with little supervision.
- Thorough understanding of OPERA system.
- Degree in Hospitality/Hotel Management would be beneficial.
- Excellent command of the English language both written and verbal, a second language is also desirable.
- Be available and willing to work a 24 hour roster when required.
- Well groomed and professional appearance.
