Our client is a successful company that work in high-end projects within London and the Home Counties, covering all aspects of garden maintenance and landscaping.

They carry out high-quality work for clients situated mainly in the London areas. They are currently looking for a highly experienced Horticulturalist; this offers the opportunity to work on some top end domestic and commercial gardens.

Soft landscaping experience required; horticultural knowledge is essential with a love and enthusiasm for plants and gardens with good communication and enjoys being part of a close-knit team, whilst being able to show initiative.

Driving is essential as there will be opportunity to cover maintenance runs with increased responsibility.

Job description:

• Weeding and seasonal pruning and planting

• Hedge cutting, mowing and border edging

• Watering • Irrigation installation and repair

• Planting of annuals and bulbs

• Assist in the control of pest and disease

• Act as Lead Horticulturalist to ensure that your gardens reach full potential

Ensure all tools, materials and plants are taken to site when required.

• Support in the daily completion of job sheets highlighting future requirements.

• Flag any issues onsite to the office to mitigate client complaints.

• Cover other maintenance runs when required.

• Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed. • Attend staff meetings.

You will need:

• 2 years + horticultural knowledge

• Experience of using power tools and maintaining gardens

• To be highly organised and efficient at time management.

• Excellent communication skills to communicate effectively with clients, operations team and designers.

• UK driving licence essential

• Right to live and work in the UK

• Good level of spoken English • Horticultural qualification desirable
