HR Administrator- The Role:
UCU is seeking a Administrator – People and Development to join the team at the head office in Carlow Street, London on a permanent, full time basis. In this exciting role, reporting to the Head of P&D, your main duties will include:
- Support and assist the People & Development Team and the Head of People & Development with a range of administrative duties
- Provide administrative support in relation to the recruitment and selection processes
- Responsible for maintaining the HR system
- Manage the administration of new starters and the UCU Probationary Process
- Manage UCU’s Family Friendly Leave
- Support the work of the Health and Safety Committee
- To manage the administration of leavers, staff benefits and any changes to terms and conditions
HR Administrator– You:
- You must be educated to GCSE level or equivalent experience (inc. maths & English)
- Experience of a similar working environment and/or understanding of working for a trade union or other not-for-profit organisation
- You will need sound organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, along with basic knowledge of employment law
