Role: IT Engineer - Rubrik Backup and Hybrid Cloud Protection

Location: London

Duration: 3 Months extensions expected

Day rate: 550 - 600 Umbrella Only

Candidates must have been a UK resident for a minimum of 5 years

We're looking for an experienced Rubrik Backup Engineer to take ownership of data protection across a hybrid environment covering on-prem, Azure, and Office 365.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, optimise, and administer Rubrik clusters.
• Ensure full backup/restore coverage for on-prem, Azure, and O365 workloads.
• Manage backup policies, SLAs, retention, immutability, and compliance.
• Troubleshoot backup issues, perform root-cause analysis, and deliver fixes.
• Support audits, DR processes, and cross-team projects.

Essential Skills

• Strong hands-on Rubrik experience.
• Hybrid infrastructure knowledge (on-prem + Azure).
• Backup/restore of Azure and Office 365 via Rubrik.
• Solid troubleshooting and governance understanding.

Desirable

• Experience with enterprise backup suites.
• API/automation exposure.
• DR planning.
