Junior Mechanical Estimator Required - Up to 50,000 depending on experience level

A well-established and highly respected M&E contractor, with over 50 years of experience delivering high-quality commercial building services projects, is seeking a Junior Mechanical Estimator to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to develop their estimating career while working on a variety of exciting commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing tender documents, budgets, and bills of quantities.

  • Support the estimating team in managing project costs and contracts.

  • Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to ensure accurate cost reporting.

  • Monitor and report on project financial performance.

  • Assist in the preparation of final accounts and variations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree, HNC, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.

  • Some experience in the M&E sector, ideally with commercial projects.

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of estimating software is a plus.
