This is a full-time, permanent position offering the opportunity to teach a KS2 class while leading and managing the Key Stage 2 phase.

KS2 Phase Leader - September 2025: Key Responsibilities

  • Teach a Key Stage 2 class (Year 3, 4, 5 or 6, depending on experience and preference)

  • Lead and manage the KS2 phase, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning and pupil progress across all classes

  • Support, coach and mentor KS2 colleagues, leading phase meetings and promoting effective collaboration

  • Work alongside the SLT to contribute to school improvement planning, assessment and curriculum development

  • Monitor and analyse pupil data to identify trends and implement targeted interventions where necessary

  • Foster an inclusive and positive learning environment, ensuring the needs of all pupils are met

  • Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, parents and the wider school community

  • Uphold high expectations for behaviour, attainment and personal development
