Lead Java Developer
Location: Remote working with occasional travel
Contract: Inside IR35, initially until the end of March
Clearance: Due to the nature of the project and turnaround time - SC Clearance will need to be live and active.
Role Summary
We are seeking a Lead Java Developer with proven experience delivering solutions for Central Government projects. You will work in Agile Scrum teams alongside Java Engineers, Front-end Developers, and Quality Engineers to modernise legacy services into scalable, cloud-aligned platforms. This is a hands-on technical leadership role, responsible for design, code quality, and mentoring.
