My client is seeking a client Cashier to provide high-quality cashiering functions within their firm. This role requires responsiveness to the changing needs and priorities of the department. The successful candidate will be part of a team of three client cashiers and will be supervised by the Cashiers Team Leaders.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Allocating and posting all client funds receipts received via online banking, primarily through RBS Bankline.
  • Handling client to client transfers and payments out of all client funds via online banking and cheque payments.
  • Calculating interest, both manually and automatically.
  • Managing foreign currency transactions via online banking.
  • Promptly addressing ad hoc queries from Partners, Associates, and Secretaries/PA's.
  • Processing Client to Office transfers for bill settlements.
  • Liaising with our bank to handle any queries.
  • Managing the opening, closing, and maintenance of joint accounts.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Solid legal cashiering experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the SRA Rules.
  • Excellent IT skills, with CMS/Aderant/Elite experience preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage own workload and work as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with people at all levels.
  • Resilient and calm under pressure, with a personable and confident demeanour.
  • Adaptable, flexible, proactive, and takes initiative
