Legal PA to 2 Partners (Intellectual Property & Global Disputes) - £60,000 !!!

Leading US Law firm in the City with in house GYM !

  • 4 days in the office / 1 from home

Duties:

* Work closely with assigned team to ensure all work assignments are completed accurately, timely and in a professional manner. * Coordinate with Financial Services to submit vendor invoices for payment; obtain all necessary approvals and prepare check requests, as needed.* Coordinate meetings/events, including booking conference rooms in EMS and coordination of all related services (Catering, Facilities, TSS); enter all visitors into EMS. * Update and maintain Outlook calendars.* Coordinate travel arrangements with Lawyers Travel and process expenses in Emburse (was Chrome River).* Communicate with clients and other outside parties.* Prepare, proofread, and edit legal documents, memoranda, and correspondence.* Format/edit pleadings and legal documents, including basic Tables of Contents and Tables of Authority.* Create, edit, and format documents in Word, Excel and PowerPoint at an intermediate level.* Perform Adobe document edits and conversions.* Create black lines and prepare document comparisons.* Conduct internet searches and summarise findings.* Process new business requests and open new matters, prepare and review conflicts submissions, and close matters appropriately.* Review pro forma client bills, communicate with Billing to ensure changes are made. Prepare cover letters for clients under the supervision of the attorney.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:* Participate as part of a team providing coverage for multiple attorneys.* Knowledge of Firm structure and operations. * Ability to meet the Firm's expectations and productivity metrics and standards. * Adhere to firm policies and procedures; manage work hours and annual leave effectively to ensure high levels of service.* Maintain high level of customer service and professional demeanour with attorneys, clients, vendors, courts and colleagues.* Attend Firm-sponsored software and soft skill training opportunities.* Demonstrate continued proficiency and a commitment to quality and improvement of skills and work product.* Strong attention to detail.* Ability to manage time and workload to meet deadlines.* Ability to think quickly and clearly, react positively and evaluate situations to determine the appropriate action while acting decisively under pressure.* Excellent written, verbal, organisational, interpersonal, and proofreading skills.* Possess a high degree of flexibility and ability to adapt to changing needs.* Ability to work and interact effectively with people at all levels.* Ability to work independently with little direction.* Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.* Maintain and demonstrate proficiency in the use of Firm-issued computer equipment, Firm-required software, and practice specific applications, as required.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, iManage, Adobe (including converting, editing, and combining files), Emburse (was Chrome River), and EMS or equivalent. * Proficiency on other office equipment used on a regular basis, including multi-function devices (print, copy, scan).
