Our client is seeking an experienced Liquidity Risk Management Framework Specialist to join their dynamic team. What you'll do:
As a Liquidity Risk Management Framework Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing a comprehensive programme of liquidity second line of defence. You will provide independent review and challenge of key Liquidity processes and programmes of work. Your responsibilities will also include reviewing liquidity risk management policies, limits, standards, controls, metrics and thresholds. You will work closely with various teams such as Finance, Risk, and Markets Treasury to ensure requisite support for activities. Building relationships with stakeholders across different departments will be crucial for this role.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive programme of liquidity second line of defence
- Provide independent review and challenge of key Liquidity processes
- Review liquidity risk management policies, limits, standards, controls, metrics and thresholds
- Ensure Liquidity Risk is managed in accordance with the firm's Risk Appetite
- Work with Finance, Risk, and Markets Treasury to ensure requisite support for activities
- Build relationships with stakeholders across Risk, Group Treasury, ALCM, Markets Treasury and front-line businesses
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Liquidity Risk Management Framework Specialist role should have extensive knowledge of liquidity risk management within a large international financial institution. You should have a good understanding of Liquidity Regulations and reporting requirements. Your ability to work across all levels of an organisation to understand cross-functional linkages and interdependencies will be essential for this role. Additionally, you should have good knowledge of vanilla and complex derivative markets products. Experience in addressing regulatory and audit requests would be beneficial.
