Position: Lower KS2 Teacher

Employment Type: Full Time (8.30am to 4pm)

About Us:

We are working with a small school in the Borough of Lewisham. Despite the size of the school, they are able to achieve a strong sense of community and care. From September, they are looking for an experienced Year 3 or Year 4 teacher. The schools can offer a welcoming and enthusiastic environment with a talented and dedicated staff team. Key Responsibilities:

Ability to work successfully as part of a team
Raise standards for all pupils, including underachieving pupils
Promote positive behaviour conducive to learning, focused on raising standards
Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback accordingly.
Contribute to the wider initiatives within the school.
Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Requirements:

Qualifications: QTS or equivalent.
Experience: Previous experience teaching in KS2
Knowledge: Strong understanding of the National Curriculum
Desirable: At least 2 years’ experience in a UK based classroom
