M&E Quantity Surveyor

We're working with a well-established principal contractor that delivers major construction projects across London, and they're looking to add an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor into their team.

This contractor operates at the top end of the market, with project values typically ranging from 45m to 150m. Their portfolio includes a mix of commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments - all high-spec, design-led, and based in and around London.

They're looking for someone with solid experience managing mechanical and electrical packages, ideally on large-scale projects (20m+). You'll need to be confident working across pre-construction and delivery phases, managing costs, dealing with subcontractors, and keeping close control of variations and valuations. This role will suit someone who enjoys being hands-on, commercially sharp, and able to work autonomously while being part of a close-knit team.

What they're looking for:

  • A background in M&E quantity surveying, ideally with a principal contractor
  • Strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical services
  • Confident with procurement, reporting, subcontractor management, and cost control
  • Degree qualified (or equivalent experience); professional membership (e.g. RICS or CIOB) is a bonus

In return, you'll be joining a respected and growing business with a strong pipeline of work, a collaborative culture, and genuine opportunities for progression. They're offering a competitive salary of up to 100,000, along with the chance to work on some of London's most exciting projects.
