Multi Trade Maintenance Engineer

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer | Commercial Environments | Up to 40K + Van, fuel card & employment package | OTE: 50-60K per annum.

We are currently recruiting for aMulti Trade Maintenance Engineer to carry outplumbing, carpentry and general building works duties across a range of commercial environments including retail stores, pubs, restaurants andgymswithin the London region.

This Multi Trade / Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer role is predominately of a reactive nature, including emergency call outs, fault finding and repair works across plumbing, carpentry and general building systems / duties.

Works:

• Carpentry: Basic woodwork, door repairs, wall repairs, shaving down doors, door closing systems, removal/replacing locks, fixtures and fittings, plaster boarding, making safe of areas / boarding up, ceiling tiles etc.
• Plumbing: Taps, washers, flusher, internal blockages, leak detection, seals etc.
• Patch roof repairs
• Patch tiling - walls / floors.
• Pump repairs / replacements.
• Painting and decorating.

Package Summary:

• Base Salary: 38,000 - 40,000
• Estimated Earnings: 50,000 - 60,000 per annum
• Status: Permanent, PAYE - Paid Weekly
• Location: London region - Central & Greater London
• Provided: Company van, fuel card, phone, uniform, specialist tools etc
• Paid overtime available: x1.5 rate until midnight Monday-Saturday / x2 rate all other hours.
• Hours: Monday - Friday: 08:30am - 5:30pm. Site hours estimated 08:30am - 4:30pm.
• Call out rota: 1 in 4 weeks. Call outs paid additionally to salary.

• 29 days paid annual leave (21 + bank holidays).

Requirements:

• Must have a strong mutli trade / multi skilled skillset, ie: comfortable working independently across a variety of plumbing, carpentry and general building works.
• Must have experience carrying out reactive maintenance / emergency call outs / emergency repair works.
• Experience working within commercial environments is highly beneficial.
• Must have a UK driving license with under 9 points.
