Nursery Practitioner

95 - 110 per day

Veritas Education is currently seeking qualified and experienced Nursery Practitioners to join nurseries and primary schools across South London. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting children's early development, fostering a safe, stimulating, and nurturing learning environment, and helping each child reach their full potential. Typical working hours are 8:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday (term-time only)

Key Responsibilities for Nursery Pracitioner:

Support the learning, development, and well-being of young children through play-based and structured activities
Help prepare and maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment
Act as a key person for a group of children, building strong relationships with parents and carers
Tailor learning and play activities to meet individual needs, including those with SEND
Attend staff meetings, training, and CPD opportunities as required
Carry out other reasonable duties to support the smooth running of the nursery or classroom

Requirements:

A relevant childcare qualification (CACHE Level 2 or 3, or equivalent)
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Experience working in an early years or primary setting
A friendly, proactive, and dedicated approach, with a genuine passion for working with children
Willingness to learn and grow professionally
