Highly successful and growing international travel consultancy are now looking for an 'Office and People Assistant’ to join their busy HR and people team.

The role will be based at their West London office - with the opportunity to work remotely one day per week upon successful completion of probation.

This is an incredibly diverse role and covers a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities - reporting directly to the Head of People and Culture and providing day-to-day HR administrative support, assisting with office coordination and diary management for the CEO.

Typical duties include:

HR administration

  • Day-to-day HR administration for the 'people’ function
  • Updating the HR database
  • Producing and sending out HR letters - offer letters, confirmations, pay reviews etc
  • Assisting to coordinate and confirm interviews
  • Tracking and updating holiday/holiday requests - via their HR database
  • Adhoc admin for the HR function as requested

Office coordination

  • Scheduling and managing meeting room bookings
  • Ordering stationery and refreshments for the office
  • Ordering IT equipment for new starters
  • Handling post and deliveries
  • Health and safety - booking office audit
  • Assisting to plan social events - such Christmas parties/monthly social events
  • Ensuring the office is tidy

Day-to-day support for the CEO

  • Diary and schedule management
  • Booking UK and international travel
  • Booking lunches and client events
  • Expenses
  • Adhoc tasks as requested

Desired attributes/skills

  • Highly organised and process driven with strong attention-to-detail
  • Proficient use of the Microsoft office packages
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Experience gained within an administrative support role - ideally within a HR/People administration role
  • Passion/interest in HR and developing a career within this area
  • Strong multi-tasker and able to prioritise work-load efficiently
  • Enthusiastic - with a positive work ethic!
  • Team player!
