Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a high-performing secondary school in Tower Hamlets in their search for a full-time Physics Teacher to join their Science department from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and passionate Physics educator to teach across KS4 and A Level, with 5 lessons each in Year 12 and Year 13. For the right candidate, additional responsibilities are available, including Lead Teacher or Second in Charge of Science.

The Role:

  • Full-time Physics Teacher (KS4 & KS5)
  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons aligned with the national curriculum
  • Take responsibility for progress and attainment of students in Physics
  • Contribute to departmental planning and assessment
  • Potential for additional responsibility such as Lead Teacher or 2iC of Science

Candidate Requirements:

  • A UK-recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS)
  • Proven experience teaching Physics at KS4 and A Level
  • Strong classroom management and the ability to inspire and motivate students
  • A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
  • Enthusiastic, reflective, and willing to go the extra mile for students
