This position is for a KS4 and KS5 Physics Teacher, offering an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and high-achieving school environment.

About the Role:

Position: Physics Teacher - Key Stage 4 & 5
Start date: March 2025 (12-month maternity cover)
Contract type: Full-time
Salary: London MPS/UPS
Location: Islington, North London
Interviews: To be arranged immediately

Role Requirements:

Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Physics lessons across KS4 and KS5
Monitor, assess and report on student progress
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Contribute to the wider school community and uphold its values

Qualifications & Person Specification:

A UK-recognised teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS or equivalent)
Specialism in Physics or a closely related science subject
Proven experience teaching Physics at KS4 and KS5
Strong classroom management and a commitment to raising standards
Passion for science education and student development
