We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Plumbing Lecturer to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone passionate about the plumbing industry and education, eager to inspire and educate the next generation of professionals.
Day-to-day of the role:- Teach students of varying abilities, from Level 1 to Level 2, providing high-quality education and support.
- Collaborate with the Curriculum Manager on the expansion and development of the department.
- Utilize your industry experience to inspire students and support them in achieving their career and life ambitions.
- Promote the plumbing courses, participating in marketing events and sharing your experiences to attract new students.
- Engage with continuous professional development activities to enhance teaching practices and subject knowledge.
- Proven experience in teaching and/or relevant industry experience in the plumbing sector.
- Minimum of Level 2 literacy and numeracy (GCSE or equivalent).
- Qualified FE teacher or willingness to work towards this qualification.
- Excellent communication skills, able to articulate clearly and confidently to class groups in an engaging manner.
- Efficient administration skills to maintain accurate student records and support departmental administrative tasks.
