Primary SEND Teacher

We are working with a SEND school in Barkingside who are started the search for a SEND Teacher to join from January 2026.

The school is located a 2 minute walk from a station and has a large FREE school car park- for those who drive.

This is a through school with students aged from 4-17 years old and the role is for a Primary SEND Teacher.

Classes have approximately 6-8 pupils who are supported by 2-3 SEND experienced SEND Teaching Assistants. Some of the year groups are mixed in terms of ages- as an example you may experience several year 1, 2 and 3 pupils all in the same class.

Students have ASD and Complex Needs and are working several academic years behind the national curriculum. All students have EHCP plans.

The school is well established and has an excellent SEND SLT on hand to help support any successful candidate.

What are they looking for?

- Someone with a QTS or passion for teaching

- Previous SEND experience

- Able to interview in the month of November 2025

- Willingness to work with SEND pupils
