My client is seeking a Product Launch Manager to lead the end-to-end planning and execution of all new model launches. This role is pivotal in coordinating across multiple departments to ensure successful market entry for new vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

Launch Planning & Leadership: Lead and manage the cross-departmental planning process for all new model launches, ensuring alignment and timely execution across sales, marketing, aftersales, training, and PR.

Go-to-Market Implementation: Plan, develop, and implement comprehensive go-to-market strategies and processes for new vehicles, including but not limited to:

Model essential processes (e.g. MVRIS)

Homologation and compliance requirements in coordination with relevant teams.

Management of launch timelines and critical path activities.

Product Content Development: Act as a key input and liaison for the creation of essential product materials:

Contribute to the development of product training content for internal teams and dealer networks.

Provide input and support for the creation of product brochures and specifications.

Oversee and guide product filming and photography sessions.

Product Lifecycle Support: Support the Residual Value (RV) setting process, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to ensure competitive positioning.

Contribute to the pricing and positioning strategy for new models within the UK market.

Act as a subject matter expert on wider product topics, providing insights and support to various departments.

Stakeholder Management: Foster strong working relationships with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Aftersales, Training, PR, Finance) and external partners to ensure seamless launch execution.

Market Analysis: Support the analysis of market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform launch strategies and product positioning.

Other ad-hoc projects.

Requirements

Proven experience in new model launch management within the automotive industry is highly desirable.

Alternatively, extensive product management experience within the automotive sector will be considered.

Demonstrable experience in planning and implementing go-to-market processes.

Familiarity with MVRIS data submission and automotive regulatory requirements is a significant advantage.

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

Highly organised with a keen eye for detail.

Ability to work autonomously and as part of a dynamic, fast-paced team.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
