Job Description: Sales and business development

Title: Sales Signage Consultant

Reporting to: MD

Basic Salary: 35k-40k Basic

Job Purpose:

You will be targeted to achieve business growth by acquiring new clients and building and maintaining close relationships with our existing clients.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Generating and responding to recent sales leads.
  • Develop and follow an agreed consistent sales plan to meet or exceed targeted sales from new and existing clients.
  • Attend regular sales review meetings with the management team.
  • Act as a client advocate and escalation point to ensure resolution of any client issues within a timely manner.
  • Liaise with internal resources where appropriate to facilitate client requests and to ensure timely responses are filtered back to the client.

Skills and Experience:

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Proven track record in B2B/B2C sales within the signage or related industry
    • Confident, professional telephone manner.
    • Proven ability to build rapport with clients and establish long-term relationships
    • Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes
    • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach to sales
    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
    • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools
    • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and with the ability to multitask
    • Proficiency in Google Workspace; quick to learn new systems
    • Proactive problem-solver with the ability to work independently.

This position is for a Business Development Executive. This is a demanding and rewarding role for a professional individual with strong sales experience - or a graduate who can demonstrate exceptional talent. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, the employee will be tasked with sales performance measured in terms of revenue growth and client retention.
