2nd Line Support Engineer

MSP - Central London

Up to £40,000

We're working with a growing MSP based in Central London looking for a capable and confident 2nd Line Engineer. You’ll be the go-to escalation point for 1st Line Engineers, resolving more complex issues and working across Microsoft, Azure, and network environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary escalation point for 1st Line Engineers, resolving technical issues efficiently and thoroughly
  • Troubleshoot and support a wide range of environments, from Microsoft 365 and Azure to networking and Windows Servers
  • Support and administer user accounts, devices, and cloud services
  • Assist with onboarding of new clients and contribute to small infrastructure projects
  • Liaise with clients regularly, providing clear updates and excellent customer service
  • Use ConnectWise (or similar PSA/RMM tools) to manage tickets, document solutions, and monitor systems
  • Help mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous service improvement

Key Requirements:

  • Previous 2nd Line experience within an MSP environment, you’re comfortable juggling multiple client environments and tickets
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 Suite
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals - including DNS, DHCP, VPNs, routing, and switching
  • Windows Server & Active Directory administration
  • Proficiency with ConnectWise (desirable but not essential)
  • Experience with PowerShell, for automation and scripting tasks (bonus but not required)
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • A proactive, solution-focused mindset with a desire to learn and progress
