Role: SEMH/ASC Class Teacher

Blue Skies Education are working with aunique and very special, inclusivespecialist secondary school in West London to recruit a SEMH and/or ASC teacherto join their established and welcoming team. The school caters fora diverse cohort of students, many of whom have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
The schoolare on a journey towards excellence and are looking for an energetic, resilient, and passionate SEMH teacher and/or ASC teacherwho iseager to support, educateand inspire young people with additional needs throughout their school life.
We will consider any subject specialism across the secondary arena and also primary trained teachers.
The ideal candidate will:

Have strong knowledge of differentiation strategies to support varied learning needs - ASC and/or SEMH

Be skilled in managing behaviour positively and effectively

Be creative and resourceful in engaging students

Enjoy using both classroom-based and community learning opportunities

Possess a positive attitude and a good sense of humour
